Nice muffins, there.

(yes, I have... but, I'm far from a Best Answer Whore and man, have I seen plenty of them.) I think it balances out -- because I've LOST many that I'd nailed, because they'd chosen a 'Top Contributor' or a hot-looking chick or an icon with a male 6-pack over a clear & helpful answer, constructive criticism or something that furthers their dialogue. I guess everything's a popularity contest & based on looks...?? (hello, President Romney!)

Then again, sometimes I'm just too goofy, when a joke is too fun not to write... like if a gay man asks what Maryland is like (for him to relocate), and I respond that there's plenty of Marys there, and he's fit right in. It's just laying there for the taking you know?

Most of the time. What makes me angry is having to give a Best Answer to someone who doesn't deserve it only because they were the only answerer. But when I'm the only answerer I deserve 10 points of course. ;)

Yes, but I've also given some awesome answers which were overlooked by a questioner who:

a) was just looking for endorsement and not an accurate response;
b) disagreed with an accurate response (with cited source!)
c) gave the 10 to a friend.

It happens that friends just give you a best answer for sympathies sake even though you don't want to or that some one just picks an answer out of the blue but hey everybody is well thanked for each 10 points

Yes I have. But then, I can't just give the 10 points back and say I didn't deserve it, right? LOL ♥

All the time. It's really embarrassing sometimes, knowing that someone might find these old answers later. Perhaps you can use the best answer vote as punishment, too.

All the time. Mainly due to the fact that I'm willing to go back and vote for my answer while the asker is too lazy, and no one else cares.... :)

Good times...

I hope I get the best answer for this one too, because you know I deserve it. :)
