It's nice to see questions here based on current events, facts, beliefs, travels and what people think & feel.

But people asking for assistance about school assignment as we know and what's the purpose of internet if they are too lazy to search for it. And some of us willing to spoon-feed this people...

When I see a school assignment question I usually don't answer it, but instead give a suggestion to how the asker can find the answer. I don't give links, though either.

That way I answer the question (and yes, get the points) and help the asker if they are really having trouble rather than just lazy, without doing their work for them.

For the answerers of YA, it's based on logic, reason and gut-feel most of the time. Serious, playtime or asking for assistance are just questions here in yahoo. Some may answer and some may don't. Some are truthful and some are not. Some are for points and some are for service. It's a good choice for us answerers to see what are good questions to answer. Cheers to All!

If a question is interesting, I answer it.

Even if it seems like it is some lazy YAPPER's assignment. I have googled things myself to find the answers to interesting "assignment " questions.

I learn along the way.

this is an open forum. it is a free country! for as long as yahoo posts the question then it must be within the guidelines. and whatever the intent of the question is, any one is within his/her right to answer it or not.

i'm too new to worry about points and too lazy to answer all questions. so i limit myself to what i know and i guess it isn't much.

but i will not dare make a comment on how others do their thring.

I agree with you. But some of us are answering because of the points and leveling up. So the essence of "doing your own homework" is "sort of" "naisasantabi".

Let me give you an example:
Many businessmen are putting up pawnshops. Because they know that many people need instant money. And on the side of these businessmen, "ang kagipitan ng iba, yun ang ikalalago natin". Sad but true..
But if you're going to think closely, pawnshops are inappropriate and they are causing laziness to the people. Instead of working hard to earn money, they're pawning for instant cash! Sad, isn't it?

It does seem like laziness on their part asking for homework help instead of looking it up, but for people who answer, it's more about being helpful (although for some, it's about earning points). I don't mind people asking for homework help, because some people have nobody else to turn to(such as parents, or siblings), and they may not know where to look for answers.
To each his own. But as you said, just don't spoon feed them the answers. Guide them in the right directions!

Yeah it really sucks. I hate that too. But there will always be "kindhearted" people who will do these assignments for them. We can't speak for them and we technically can't control them.
