yes. I had my first period about 2 weeks after I stopped bleeding from birth (and I nurse). He is 4 3/4 months old and my period this month was still strange compared to what they usually are

It will take a few months to get your body back to normal. Remember your body hasnt done it in a year so some months may be different then other.
