Soak in hot water, scrape after several hours & repeat if needed till you get it all off. You can add salt to speed the process.

try this....
Wash away as much of the food as possible, using cold water for eggs, chocolate and starch-based foods.
Fill the pot with water. Add 1 to 2 tsp. dishwashing liquid and bring to a boil. Simmer for 10 minutes, then cover the pot, turn off the heat and leave the pot to soak for 30 minutes.
With a wooden spoon, scrape away as much of the burned food as possible. Rinse well.
If burned areas still remain, cover them completely with a generous amount of baking soda. Drizzle in just enough water to create a thick paste, smearing the paste up the sides of the pot if needed. Set aside for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
Without rinsing the pot, add 3 parts water to 1 part distilled vinegar to cover the burned food by at least 2 inches (5 cm). Boil for 10 minutes and then leave overnight.
Repeat as needed.

Put water and soap in the pot on the stove on warm for about 5 minutes. The junk should come off with a good scouring. If that fails try a powder product called Bar Keepers Friend. Its less than $2 and found in the soap isle next to the Comet.

Add hot water a little detergent along with two Bounce or other type dryer sheets . I keep a pack of Bounce under my sink just for such emergencies. Let it soak an hour or two. It turns the burned spot gummy and practically wipes out.

What I've done was soaked the pan, then used a butter knife to scrape everything loose. Then I would soak and scrape the pan again, and after that I would put baking soda in the pan and scrub it with a scrubbing sponge. It's a lot of work, but it does work.

put a couple cups of water in the pot then dump about half a cup of vinegar in. then simmer on low for about 15 mins. make sure someone is watching this time and if the water gets low add more. they will just float off for the most part and the rest will be soft enough to just wipe off.

Soak overnight in water with dish detergent. May take longer soaking but even the carbonized pasta will loosen if soaked long enough. It is water soluble.

Go get the big steel wool pads, they are made of tougher material than brillo and will take dried on egg out of my frying pan in seconds.
