well its unlikely that you caught a leopard gecko since they are only found in the middle east. In America we have a gecko called the banded gecko that looks similar to a juvenile leopard gecko so im guessing thats probably what you caught

it probably doesnt want to eat because its stressed out give it a couple of days to adjust to its surrounding then try again to feed it

DO NOT LISTEN TO THEM! The Leopard Gecko isn't native to North America. Someone might've accidentally let it escape or purposely let it free. Do not feed it. Take to to a local PetSmart, and give it to them. Or, keep it and list in the newspaper for free until someone takes it. They will take care of it nicely.~

Are you sure it's a Leopard Gecko? They are not found in the wild unless you live in Pakistan/Iran part of the world. Identify with a picture or more info please.

HI
I notice you say you CAUGHT a gecko, and my honest answer to this question is just let him go, you wouldnt like to be taken from your home away from your family just the same way he doesnt, and if you were to have bought one you at least need to do your homework on it first,

Natalie has it right. Let him go.

I understand the appreciation of these marvelous little creatures, but he has a place where you found him. There are lots of captive-bred herps for sale. I highly recommend you join a herp club, where you can meet like-minded people who share your interests and perhaps get some excellent deals on reptile pets.

Good luck!

Well it might not want to eat because he might not like the food you are feeding him.
