Rollback to IE6. IE7 has alot of bugs in it that seem to freeze the browser alot. If you add/remove program IE7, it will automatically rollback to IE6. Don't close down explorer.exe, that's part of your windows GUI. iexplore.exe is internet explorer. I'd also think of using Firefox just because it's altogether less buggy....

...Ha!...I have actually had that happen...twice...I get PO'd and shut down the whole "shibang" and then re-boot...usually happens when memory is low so then I do some computer cleaning and get rid of old files and folders to make more room for more non essential files and folders....and so on ;)
