All of my life I have had a problem with my nipples being to large. They are fine when cold but are huge otherwise. I'm 22 and old enough to finally consider surgery. Has anyone had any experience with this problem and my offer some alterative?

What exactly is huge? Would you be asking if you thought your nipples were too small? Many people find big nipples a turn on. Try going shirtless and when you think someone is looking closely at your nipples, ask them what they think. Hey, this may be the solution to you overcoming your shyness. Every single person I know has nipples. Every single person I know is also different. It would be a pretty dull place if all men and all women looked the same. Wouldn't it? Why not just tell yourself you like yourself just the way you are, big nipples and all. I'll bet one of your future partners will find this a big turn on which should make you feel good too.

I am a African American 22 year old man as well I am 6 foot 2 inches and I weight 179lbs I have been physically fit my entire life an have dealt with the exact same "problem" you state that you have. For me it happened right around puberty when alot of things started to grow. I have always wondered what solutions to take but now I am learning that life is not always fair my BIG NIPPLE BROTHER!!! and sometimes you jus have to deal with whatever life throws at you, basically I'm saying don't get SURGERY its not worth it jus hit gym and use that built up NIPPLE ANGER to hit that bench with everything you got!!! and I PROMISE your nipples with began to be SMALLER and SMALLER

I would wager that most of the adults you would be around, whether they be male or female, don't really care if your nipples are big or not! You may have been teased alot as a kid and this has made you self conscious about them, but you are an adult now!
Why not embrace this feature as a benefit! Ask your partner to play with them or suck them, you may find you enjoy it, and if that is the case why carve them down, or off?
In any event, you need to do whats good for you and if you wish to have surgery then so be it.

1. You may have a case of body dysmorphic disorder
2. Your nipples may be fine to everyone else, u are just self-conscious
3. Your nipples are big-- so what, that's kind of hot lol
4. The only way to fix big nipples is to
a.) lose weight if you are obese
b.) plastic surgery
c.) learn to love them :D

Sometimes just losing a little weight can help, but if they are still large there is a very oddball solution you might consider instead of surgery.
In many cases, getting your nipples pierced will cause them to remain in the "cold" or "erect" position when you have the jewelery in. Maybe you could just get a very small bar or something unobtrusive if you are not into the whole body piercing thing.

I have large nips myself and have always hated it. My alternatives are: use band aids to 'tape' them down, it works best with the kind made for water. If you don't want to go that far, always wear a tshirt under your main shirt and that helps to cut down on the protrusion of those fat boys. It does suck, but I wouldn't do surgery personally. Not for anything unnecessary, thats just my twocents!
