Which entrance is better (i.e. more to see, more to do)? Thanks!

I would say the Florida City entrance. There are tons of trails to take, but don't forget your insect repellant. The mosquitos will eat you alive.
If you're not into trails, then there isn't much to see just driving through. It's 50 miles of tall grass and trees. There is a marina at the end where you can rent a boat and fishing poles for a whole or half day.

By far, Florida City. This is the main entrance; has the main visitor center and the biggest & best trails.

the only way you will have the skill to work out the everglades would be from a excursion boat or a stepped forward section made for flora and fauna viewing, the two one among that are completely risk-free, till you're already lifeless, wherein case stay remote from the vultures!
