The ultimate value of thought is the life that thought gives to the ones who care, and dare to think.
For instance, I could be lost long time since in the darkening paths of my life where I lingered devoid of all hope and happiness for some time until thoughts of courage and good anticipations awash with brilliant hope came to my rescue. I learnt to have faith and live despite all odd and adversities. It is thought, in the hours of my necessity and need that give me enlightens my hearts with faith, that cheers me up, consoles me and spurs my on into action. And if it is not for the objective and rational nature of my thought my journey could have been a complete mess, a futile errand over all, or a labour of desperation filled with disjunctive scurries of impulsive urges; without my thought, my purpose my aim, could have fallen scattered under my feet like shards of broken glass.

And then oft times, when I am distressed and diseased by materialistic savagery, cold and callous purposefulness, of the rigid constraints within human mind, when I grow discontented and restless, I, at moments like these, gather the counsel of my thought to suggest me deeper understanding of things in life.

Then I often stand amazed and mesmerised like a child in the middle as this grand and glorious spectacle of creation I find spread all around me. I then witness the drama of life of civilisation unfold at the backdrops centuries and mist of eons. I wonder about creation, about the beginning and the end, and about the Creator. Sometimes, I could see the entire universe in my imagination, and the great wide beyond, where there is nothing, where there is no beginning and no end. I visit places thousands of light years away and come home safe and secure. I live as if I were a dream of my own thought.

Because humans are gifted by spirit-mind, thought (thinking) is possible. The value of good thinking is that this allows the other gift of God's will within you to actively co-create, with your better thinking, additional realities in your evolving, potentially immortal SOUL. If you think of you as soul of the shape of an ellipse, the two focal points of that ellipse, F1 and F2 would be: F1 God's spirit will within you F2 your human will as you have cooperating thoughts with God on any issue that has value.

Thus the highest value of thought is "To Be or to be not an eternal, personal soul."

Thoughts that have no Supreme or higher value, will die with the death of the physical brain/body. Godly thoughts always eternalize in the higher, ascending personality as soul you.

Thought is truly the curse of humanity. Its sole purpose is to separate. It separates the thinker from everything. It is the first separation in the term 'I am' which some call the first realization. After that point it's all down hill.

The only useful thought is mechanical or how to fix something mechanical. All thought about life and how to live is a complete waste of time and energy and is the source of mankind's misery.

The ability to think is valueless I would say. However, thought somethings can lead to actions that create a great deal of mis information and cost the people, and the self a great deal of money, and loss.

May your thoughts be filled with energy and positive actions for the goodness of all mankind.

Human thinking is born out of some sort of neurological defect in the human body. Therefore, anything that is born out of human thinking is destructive.
Thought is opposed fundamentally to the functioning of this living organism.
All insights, however extraordinary they may be, are worthless, because it is thought that has created what we call insight, and through that it is maintaining its continuity and status quo.
Thought is not the instrument to help us to live in harmony with the life around us. That is why you create all these ecological problems. But the planet is not in danger; we are in danger.
The certainty that I have that there is no mind is something which cannot be transmitted to anybody, however hard I may try. You are not ready to accept this statement because the very thing which we are using to communicate is in jeopardy.
Thought is something dead and can never touch anything living. It cannot capture life, contain it, and give expression to it. The moment it tries to touch life, it is destroyed by the living quality of life.

Thought is as valuable as the seed is in the context of the crop..... no crop can be reaped without the right seeds, but misfires, pest attacks and rots are also not uncommon.
Resultant action determines the value of the seeding thought.

There is no value on thought. To value thought is to give it a limit. For instance, if you value a ring at '$100" then that rings use only extends to $100, after that it's use is null.

Thought has no limits to it's use, thus it cannot be valued. Thought, is and only ever will be: thought.

Thought is an antedote to ignorance, bigotry, hatred, hubris, violence, jealousy, greed, arrogance, carelessness, reckless disregard for others, and the lack of a moral or spiritual compass to guide ones thoughts and actions. So thought is the cure for the most of the afflictions of mankind.

I can see, you are not asking "How much I value thought"; nor, what value I place on others thought...this would imply how i think or weigh others opinions, conjectures, criticisms etc. Thought in general i believe to be worthless, unless it is "expressed" through the ability of communication, in this, the thought in itself is only worth something to the individual having them or it..(as in an idea),yet, un-realized, it too is worthless. "Peace!" :)

The value of thought is that you have the ability to think and choose. Having thought allows you to have your own independent ideas and makes you more unique. It helps define who you are.
