...and the subsequent destruction of the people and infrastructure of a country that never had the means or the intention to harm you, was an almighty cock-up that has achieved nothing except expose the US to greater hatred around the world and put its economy on the verge of a recession?

Any sane American...I would say yes.
Any American who doesn't gobble up the lies they're fed like it's Thanksgiving dinner....I would say yes.
Any American who sees beyond the veil of media perversion....I would say yes.

Going into Iraq was never about anything other than the total destabilization of the Middle East east of Dubai/Saudi Arabia, and oil profits for the Bush family, their associates in the American government, their Freemason friends and their Saudi "family" connections if you will.

The plan was a success, Exxon is now the wealthiest corporation in the nation (someone finally trumped Wal-Mart), and there is 0% fuss from the government.....especially in comparison to the noise they made last year (which still did nothing by the way).

So, when Bush said "Mission Accomplished" it had absolutely nothing to do with the war itself. What mission they did accomplish was the first step in a total mess, destabilization, propoganda misinformation and war profiteering at it's finest.

The next president will have one hell of a mess to clean up.

Iraq=NEVER HAD any Weapons of Mass Destruction. Intelligence built around Lies of Mass Deception. Now it's a graveyeard.

North Korea=Admits that they DO have them. Even threatens the USA. Now they are given MORE aid.

I mean, what does Iraq have that North Korea doesn't? Yes, oil. Can we make cars move with those North Korean rice? And if we look at who profits: Not Americans but these rich scumbags who influence the US foreign policy. The body bags that get sent home every day mean nothing to them. Human capital.

The only Americans who would 'admit' this are the ones who do not have a clue as to what they are talking about.

BTW - I personally was two mustard-gas artillery shells when I was in Iraq so I know that those of you who claim tha WMDs were not there are _liars_.

They harbored terrorists, plain and simple. If you lived in a country who is a target for attack at all times, you would think differently. Not only that, don't you listen to what a lot of Americans have to say? A lot of Americans DO oppose the war and have from the beginning. It's just that in our country congress and the President make the desicions about how we do business. We may get them elected but ultimately they choose what path we take. So next time DO YOUR HOMEWORK!

Americans didn't wanted to invade Iraq. They did want to go after the Taliban no mater where they were. President Bush thought he had enough evidence of mass destructive weapons in Iraq to invade. We Americans didn't have any say so in the matter. If we had we would have said no, stay after Ben Laden. The only guilt were admitting to is voting for G.W. Bush. And some of us were dumb enough to vote for him TWICE! Can you believe it?

I'm pretty sure if you ask any (sane) American, we'll all tell you the same thing: "Our president is a douchebag."
