Can I replace double tip spark plugs with single tip ones and the car perform the same.

What I'm saying is if the car comes stock with double tip plugs, I'm just curious of the potential problem (if any), if I were supposed to use single plugs instead.

probably, under normal driving conditions. what is vital is to use only spark plugs which the manufacturer recommends for your model of car.

generally you should buy the best plugs you can. These days it is not necessary to replace the spark plugs at every service, they seem to last several years so the cost is not important.

If you have a problem with the plugs getting sooted up or the tips burning away there is a problem elsewhere - carburation, timing etc.

Using the single electrode spark plug will not make any difference in the running of your car> I like NGK V power plugs>
