Sorry, but not much on reading lately...IF I am going to read, it must be fun, down and dirty fast read....I prefer mysteries, and my favorite character is Travis McGee from John McDonald...he died some time ago, was a prolific writer, and I am stuck re-reading the "color " series of these mysteries....always a fun read...exciting, the hero is always for the underdog, nothing supernatural about him, always having the hell beat out of him. All takes place in Southern Florida out of Ft. Lauderdale....IF you have not read these books, try and find one or two...everyone loves the Travis McGee books, were always best sellers, and ebay is loaded with them. Phil

1. not much on fantasy book
2. Anything John Grisham writes will be good.
3. don't care for thrillers
4. don't much like sci-fi either
I used to read Stephen King, but that was years ago.
I prefer more down-to-earth books. Real life stories, drama, etc. I read everything John Grisham writes.
