would ti be ok if the rest of my outfit is black? what about tights? i have so much black clothing but have just ordered apair of brown boots which i love. is it time for a new wardrobe?!

If it's not a really dark brown then I think it looks nice. Wear natural/brown or black tights with them. (do you have a link to the boots you've bought, then I will be able to give you my honest opinion!)
Apparently the fashion this season is to wear boots over tight dark jeans, so buy some of those , then you can wear pretty much any colour top.

Nothing wrong with black, it's very classy. However, I wear a lot of black and tend to put something bright with it even if its just a long necklace. I think brown boots would be great. I love wearing black jeans/ trousers and wearing a bright top. I also have long blonde hair so that stands out against black tops. Keep wearing black though if you like it!

Yes, but it is important to take into account what you will wear above the skirt as well, possibly something that will pick up the color of the boots in some way. Try a few variations in front of the mirror.

Probably not but I have the same trouble trying to find tights to go with brown boots. I think brown crochet type tights are probably best. Well no tights is best but not practical at this time of year.

I dont think it would look good, If your going to wear them with your black skirt you could try wearing a brown top to match the boots.

It is your choice, but personally I would not. I would suggest getting yourself a brown or tan skirt, you could still wear black tights and maybe a black top.

ok. when laying out your outfit for the day. mixing black and brown. is a hard thing to get away with. it depends on the shade of brown you are pairing it with. you shouldnt use a significant ammount of brown and you should never mix a lot of brown with a little black.

Depends on what kind of brown shade your boots are. Not every brown color goes with black. And it is never to early or to late to change wardrobe specially if you have only one color to choose from.

I believe that you can wear any color with brown shoes except black. You probably need some new clothes. Also, if you are young, black is not a great color.
