love is blind
it might seem impractical to us but if the 2 are in love then nothing in th world can stop them
the girl is 26 years..not 16 or 18..she is old enough to think for herself and decide whats right and whats wrong
You can try explaining but i dont think it will help
I hope she isnt marrying the guy for money or any other motive
The girl isnt a kid.
You can try explaning the man also...that he has to think abt teh girls future once he is not in the world....he shouldnt be selfish...but i think that too wont work.
Mnay marriages have happened with such big age gaps...its purely on those individuals.

My great uncle is sixty and his wife if 30. Of course there was some contoversy and it was very strange at first. But now our familys so used to it i forget sometimes. And theyre very happy together. Whoever these people may be can try it out and see if it works. If it does thats fantastic and i hope they end up like my great uncle and great aunt! If not than thats okay and theyll both find someone else hopefully.

Good luck to them. Some of the comments here are very ageist - this guy is 50, not 90 ! I don't think he'll be needing a nurse for a few years yet !

If they like it I love it, they are both consenting adults, who are free to make their own decisions. Its not like she is 18 and he 56, she is 26 years old, which in most cases indicates that she has lived life somewhat, and is capable of making that decision with a level head. I wish them the best!

I think it depends on what is the motive of the both of them. If both of them love each other i do not really see a problem.
As they say Love is not something regarding age, status or race its what ur heart feels for the other person.

She is a gold digger hoping you will kick off and she will get something from you. For you it is the perfect story. A young girl - great as long as you can deal with her taking you for everything.

If they love each other. No problem. He get a young lovely charm to go out with and she get stability. And when she is 86 he will be 100.

What would you talk about? In ten years he will be 60 and you will be 36. What would you have in common?

If I were selling life insurance I'd stay away from this one :)
Otherwise, love conquers all. Let them have fun. If they are compatible, age shouldn't matter. Unless something "weird" is going on, I'd say go for it.
Good Luck

This is an ignorant question. We don't know them. Any opinion that someone would have here would be a completely biased, self-centered, and probably closed minded answer.
