Prescott Bush was his name. Is that for real, or a conspiracy theory? Bush is a German name, so I wondered.

One respondent feels that although Bush helped finance Hitler, it "doesn't necessarily mean that they endorsed Hitler."

So, I'm giving you money to finance your war activities, but I ... DON'T agree with you?

Prescott Bush, Joseph Kennedy, and Charles Lindberg were just a few of the Americans who thought Hitler was A-OK! After all, the Nazi got the economy going (with war material) and built railroads and Auto-bann (with slave labor).

They later either denied or down-played supporting the Nazis, but all of them did.
