Why do some people have to start all over again .........?

With a new profile, and no points? what are the reasons? I am relativly new

Great question, Snacky, I wonder the same. I've witnessed some bizarre exchanges that make it look like some folks may be jealous of the attention others get. They then proceed to report and thumbs down everything that person does. According to a contact of mine who was suspended, the Y!A guys don't read the reported questions. They just take it that with so many reported violations there must be something to it and terminate the profile. But really who knows. We should ask that Y!A Mike guy to blog about it. There are those out there they call trolls. A troll can come into your life by way of actually being a contact or someone who looks at questions you have posted and report you for no reason. Well, I can't say for no reason because they could have just had a bad day or maybe a hang nail occured. They also like giving thumbs down on everything too. Sometimes you may have posted a question and each and everyone of the people who have answered it has been given a thumbs down.

They can repeatedly report you causing your account to be suspended. Now this part I'm a little unclear of. I'm not sure if a yahoo person is the one that goes through the questions and sees something unacceptable or if a troll keeps reporting you causing the account to be suspended. Many mysteries in the world of Y!A. I think that P&S being the most popular one out there probably has more violations than any other category.

I think trolls come in different nationalities, ages and ecconomical backgrounds. You just don't know who's out there.

Well a lot of us get violation notices for the dumbest reasons. You get too many of those and your account gets suspended on Y/A so that's when you start over again.
