Last night before i went to bed he was just fine, but this morning he was wedged in between the lid and the plastic bar in the tank. I lifted the lid to get him out because he just to big for that now. As i lifted it i noticed that his head was a bit misshaped and swollen on the right side. what should i do? Will it go down?

Take him to a reptile vet if the swelling does not go down.
Mnay reptiles tned to get infections in their mouths, If you have fed him lately he may have gotten a bad rat.

Good Luck

I would definately take it to a vet if the swelling didn't go down in a little while. But it should go down. It is probably from where he tried to get out of his cage and got his head stuck, it's probably nothing more but that. And you should also buy a bigger cage, with more room for him.

I know, they are a real handful, mine has escaped her habitat twice. Both times I came home and she was gone, one other time she tried and also got stuck except it was her whole head caught between the lid and the cage.

Possibly an abscess--usually in the mouth. Time for a vet visit.

Why are you wasting time on the computer talking to unqualified strangers instead of calling a VET?!!!
