Someone told me they just had their account on Answers suspended but they still have their email and messenger id. I thought in Answers if you were suspended you lost everything.

Yes, I'm aware this isn't a religious question but more people get their account suspended in R&S than any other forum so that's why I'm asking it here.

When my original account (one I've had since 1998) was suspended, my Y!A was the only thing that was affected. My email, fantasy sports accounts, groups, 360, etc., all remained unaffected.

only your yahoo answers account ( i.e. u can not ask/answer questions through that a/c in YA) is suspended

i use 360, messenger , & mail from supended account (Yahoo answers)

all my accounts are still alive...dont worry

sometimes people intentionally get violation , to block others ( when yahoo had no provision of blocking contacts )

I don't know I have never been suspended or deleted..I know that most people are back in minutes so I guess it doesn't last that long.

i dont know but i think there are degrees of suspension-ranging from your site being closed off from yahoo completely-no mail or anything-to just losing you spot on answers-not sure of this might want to check it out-----smile and enjoy the day

I've heard that they have started to do that. They are just blocking answers most of the time now.

Yep. Had it happen. You have to contact YA to get it back on line.
