I am 17!!There is this cousin who had proposed me around 2 yrs back...My answer was if mom is ready...Coz he was my cousin..!!We were not that close during these two yrs..!!Now this guy has told his mom regarding me and now his mom is gonna speak to my mom..!!The problem is that during these two yrs i fell in love with another guy and we have plans for settling down in life..!!Now what to do??Plzzzz help..!!

Hey, you are only 17. It's not the best time to discuss marriage. I suggest that you tell your mum that you've fallen for another guy. Otherwise, when your mum and his start talking, they may have plans for you and your cousin. And it's not fair to your cousin since now you have your heart set on another guy. Be open and have a discussion. Don't rush into any commitments; think about it first.

I think 17 is too young for marriage. If I understand correctly, he proposed to you when you were 15 yrs. old and in some circles that's illegal. Also in 2 yrs. time you fell in love with another guy. Sounds to me like you are in an exploratory phase in your life which come from youth. For now, reconsider marriage, keep your boyfriend without the commitment, tell your cuz to chill out and you should focus on something worthwhile like school. School is about learning, meeting new people and opening new doors. Be smart about your youth, there's really no need to rush into being tied down.

So, you are 17 years old and i guess you are grown up enough for settling down in life. Now, if you need my answer as quickly as possible, my answer is, talk to your mom and your cousin about your situation to this guy and everything will be fine. Be honest to your own family, actually the other guy is your cousin, so he might be understood. Be happy and good luck!

at 17 you are too young to make those choices you should not settle for either one now
also you should not be with your cousin period
work on yourself find out what you like go to college and work on a career so you can support yourself and not have to depend on others for that then you will be ready to settle down

Definitly...follow your heart. You are in no obligation to say yes to his proposal, or better yet...if you dont want to marry your cousin....tell your mum you dont want too..and tell your mum to tell his mum that shes against it and wouldnt agree to it...or somthing like that.
