It is not the water that makes a Baptism but the heart. The water is symbolic as is the entire ceromony so that other may see you acceptance of Christ. So that you will set an example for others. The Baptism occurs before the ceromony, when you except Christ as your Savior.

So really, the hose, its just gonna piss a lot of people off. And my church when those older ladies get there hair done up and you hit them with a hose, I'd be worried they'd head on up there and spank like a child. I can see the line forming now.

Those churches that believe that baptism saves generally have a baptistry in the church filled with water, ready to go.

BTW, not that I believe the Bible, but it DOES say that baptism saves. "Baptism, which corresponds to this, NOW SAVES YOU, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ." - 1 Pet. 3.21

Of course, the Bible also mentions 4-legged insects...

baptism does not save, and baptism is not water but water is a mean by which baptism is conducted. salvation is a gift given freely.
see; its more like this- to be able to catch the bull in cricket you have to be in the stadium, baptism is like an entry ticket, which does not guarantee a catch.

It is not baptism that saves; only the blood of Christ cleanses us from sin. Baptism is our public declaration that we have dedicated ourselves to serve God. That being said, we are to continue to follow Christ and the examples he set forth.

Jesus was baptized. He also said that unless a man be born again he cannot enter the kingdom of heaven. It is the baptism. While saying that you love Jesus but ignoring what he teaches like the baptism is like accepting Jesus only in words,in mouth
