787-3 will carry 223 in 3 classes or 296 in 2 classes and is intended for short haul routes and is limited by the low maximum takeoff weight. The 787-8 will carry 223 in 3 classes for long haul routes. The 787-9 will carry 263 in 3 classes on long haul routes.

All seating capacities are subject to seat layout which can be altered to suit a customer's requirements. So there's really no hard and fast answers.

Between 210 and 330 passengers. Depends on what model. Currently Boeing is planning on building 3 models. The 787-3 will cost US$146–151.5 million and hold 223 passengers-in three classes, or 296 passengers- in two classes. The 787-8 will cost US$157–167 million and hold 223 passengers in three classes. And finally, the 787-9 will cost US$189–200 million and hold 263 passengers in three classes.

The actual amount will vary much because airlines will have high and low density configurations depending on the routes it serves. SQ's 380s only hold around 500 which isnt much more than their 747s even though Airbus advertised they would hold around 800 seats with bars and shops even though that didnt happen either.

None, after the first heavy landing and those Main Spars snap like a twig, the A/c will be grounded and the whole concept of Carbon Fibre main wing spars will be put into question.
