My boyfriend shuts me up all the time?

When things are good, my boyfriend is brilliant, loving,caring..Although he talks too much, goes on and on and i still listen to him out of respect.But he does the opposite to me, he often shuts me up and doesn't have more than 5mins for me.He always takes control of any situation and doesn't admit when he's wrong.i most of the time don't say anything to avoid conflict but when i do he gets angry.what i hate most is when he tells me off in front of his kids who are not mine.i get annoyed and upset and don't talk to him for days.when i try to explain my feeling he's not prepared to listen so i e-mail him to get msg across about how i feel and how he would feel if it were me who shut him up all the time and talk to him like he does to me in front of his kids?consequently, yesterday his 9 year old daughter told me to shut up n go away because i asked her to tidy her desk up.I was furious about it.I felt to punish her but i couldn't do anything because am not her mum.it's her dad's fault.

Have a sit-down with him. If he refuses to listen, still talk to him until he does.

And if really doesn't happen, break it off. A relationship can't survive without two-way communication.
