Dorset is not in Wales but on the south coast of england. The nearest airport is Bournemouth. Ryan air fly from Dublin to bournemouth and depending on timing this could be very cheap. The only thing would be transport and hotel. The hotel depends on how much money you have to spend. There are many bed and breakfast places in the area as it is a holiday location. There will be a website for these. I can recommend the Haven Hotel in Poole if money is no object. It is very nice and by the sea, but will be dear!!

you need to get the train with iaranrod eireann to dublin, as one answerer already said you need to get to Dun Laoghaire this is the correct spelling, depending on your train you may pass here en route to dublin, if not and you arrive in dublin city centre these are the options.......if you arrive in heuston station you need to take the luas to connolly, you may in fact arrive straight to connolly and you will then take the southbound dart service to Dun Laoghaire, then you will come out of the station and turn left then left again, you will see the HSS terminal, go in buy tickets get the ferry to Hollyhead it takes just 90 mins and when you arrive in holy head you will need to take a bus/ train or a taxi if you have plenty of money.... i often use a website called travel republic for cheap accomodation worldwide.....

alternatively you may wish to make your way from waterford to either cork or shannon airport and take a cheap ryanair or aer arann flight to wales and make your way from there
good luck and enjoy your trip

Try www.hostelworld.com for accommodation, and try the AA travel guide for directions. Or simply contact the British Tourist Board.
