It sure is not because I am better.
It is not to build up my faith.
Not for fan me or money.
It is because I didnt get to know Him until 10 yrs ago.
I wish someone would of had enough compassion to sit down and talk with me like a human being and not rammed it down my throat. But when I received Jesus It gave me peace. Now I am trying to do it in a cival manor. But it is up to you?God have mercy on all of us.WHAT IS YOUR THINKING ON THIS SUBJECT?

It is the biggest part of our calling as Christians to spread the Gospel , the Good News, that Jesus died for our sins and that if we accept His sacrifice, that we can be saved. Not everyone hears the Good News at home from their parents and it is up to us to tell the world that there is another way, a way to heaven.

Contrary to what bestojes says, I have studied the Bible for many years. Most True Christians do. I would agree that in Christendom, people accept what they are told bya the priests, but in True Christianity, we carefully examine the scriptures to make sure of all things. Acts 17 v 11.
It is because of my study of the Bible that I tell people the Truth about Jesus Christ and Jehovah God.
They are NOT part of a Trinity. They are two individuals, Father and Son.
Because of their love of mankind, God gave his son, Jesus, as a ransom so that man may have the hope of a perfect live in peace and unity on a Paradise earth. Psalm 37 v 11 and 29.

Cindy Apparently your experience comes from a fundamentalist church that pushes their interpretation on others. Perhaps that explains your method of trying to spread the good news here.

As for believers telling everyone about salvation that was never the plan. In the early church believers kept their belief to themselves only telling those who asked and showed a willingness to hear. Salvation is not for everyone. It is for those who God has chosen. And the first necessity to be chosen is to be willing to believe. There is more but without a willingness to believe nothing further can be done.

If you're basing the Truth on the Bible, it has been retranslated and edited 15 times by humans whom did not care about the same reasons you call it the Truth. That makes it man-made, just like other religious implementation throughout this Earth.

The only bankable truth is that you're alive now. Everything else is a simple leap of faith.

I, on behalf of all overzealous Christians, apologize to you and to every individual who has been beaten down by some jesus-freak.
I still haven't figured out how we (Christians) got from being sacrificed on the cross and fed to lions to creating wars (the crusades into palestine) to warring between each other (Ireland).
Jesus told us to be loving, kind, generous and sacrificial.
Anything else is sin.

Please note: I did not capitalize "jesus" nor "palestine".

if they are really doing that, well maybe because of their strong faith that theyd like to share with others also. same thing as the non believers, (just observed ) when they speak, their words seem to be final. well, better respect each others belief. we have equal rights in our own personal understanding. actually, i ll never go on a debate abt religion.

The truth? I doubt it. The truth is, there is no historical evidence that Jesus existed.

Did a historical Jesus exist?

[Excerpt]

ALL CLAIMS OF JESUS DERIVE FROM HEARSAY ACCOUNTS

No one has the slightest physical evidence to support a historical Jesus; no artifacts, dwelling, works of carpentry, or self-written manuscripts. All claims about Jesus derive from writings of other people. There occurs no contemporary Roman record that shows Pontius Pilate executing a man named Jesus. Devastating to historians, there occurs not a single contemporary writing that mentions Jesus. All documents about Jesus got written well after the life of the alleged Jesus from either: unknown authors, people who had never met an earthly Jesus, or from fraudulent, mythical or allegorical writings. Although one can argue that many of these writings come from fraud or interpolations, I will use the information and dates to show that even if these sources did not come from interpolations, they could still not serve as reliable evidence for a historical Jesus, simply because all sources derive from hearsay accounts.

Hearsay means information derived from other people rather than on a witness' own knowledge.

Courts of law do not generally allow hearsay as testimony, and nor does honest modern scholarship. Hearsay provides no proof or good evidence, and therefore, we should dismiss it.

Easy one - it's a COMMANDMENT from God

Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Mat 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.

we tell because he commands us to deliver did you catch that he said to deliver not shove or force or prie it on them to be a messenger of god as and as long as we are just delivering the message well then we doing are best to do what he commands thats why we do what we do because he commands us to do it but he commands out of love not by force but by free will. he commands but does not force us to follow his commands only if we choose to follow them do we do them but we should have a desire to follow them
