I like to eat a lot, but I am still about 25 pounds under weight; I've been using GNC weight gain formula & a weight gain diet for 2 years with no results & it's burning a hole in my wallet. McDonald's, Mexican food, beer, & millions of calories a day doesn't help either. How does someone in his 20's gain weight without spending any money or sitting on the couch? Oh, & I don't have an overactive thyroid, I just like to stay busy & work throughout my entire day.

You are one lucky mutha! What do you wanna go gain weight for? Gaining weight is easy, shifting it is another thing man! As long as you're healthy you shouldn't let it bother you. I wish I had the same 'problem' as you he he! Mind you, I went through that phase when I was sixteen or seventeen. I was the skinniest creature in town and at 6ft I could always afford to pig out. Food was cheaper back then too. I feasted on donuts without the slightest hint of remorse. Once I remember eating 3 cheeseburgers (with a bag of fries each) and a large pizza capricciosa in one sitting! I had everyone gobsmacked including myself. I could hardly move afterwards but all it took was a trip to the bathroom to get me back to normal. I was an eating machine.
Please don't obsess about this issue. At 19 I weighed 71kgs, six years on the scales now read 86kgs. As you grow older your metabolism will eventually betray you just as it betrayed me. You will look back on your skinny days with an overwhelming sense of nostalgia. Believe me I know!

When i was in college i was a size 1 or 2 in ladies clothes. My professors use to tell me to drink beer as I was always trying to gain weight. But since i dont like beer bought milkshakes and malts which indeed helped me gain the weight. I put on 25 pounds to reach a size 4.
Slowing down a bit also helps slow your metabolism. Good luck!

Whoa, thats probably very unhealthy to gain weight that fast through all these fattening foods. You should try instead of eating so much getting a protein shake, because that would build some muscle too, which you should start to worry about, even now...

Malt. You know like a choc malt from Dairy Queen. My friend got sick, lost weight, and her doc told her malt is very fattening. She would order x-tra malt in her shakes. Whoppers are malt also, but the powdered malt is better. Or pay 50 bucks at GNC for powdered weight gainer, but its probably just malt!
