How long would you wait before having sex with your new boyfriend?

Until we're married!
There are too many children growing up without a father because their parents couldn't wait and they rush into things and they find out they're not meant to be. Or the pegnancy happens accidentally and a girl ends up having an abortion because neither of the parents can deal with having a baby. A baby is not something that you can just get rid off because it doesn't fit with your plans.

You should wait until at least the third date, or until you are both comfortable with the idea of being sexually active. You do not want to be just a one night stand and if he is truly interested in you for more than just sex he will wait

I waited 2 and a half months. It has resulted in an amazing relationship where it isn't based on sex but at the same time its more intimate sex. No harm in kissing and holding each other in bed though!!!
previous relationships got stale very quickly as the sex was done with relatively quick within 3 weeks.

I would wait till I feel comfortable enough with him! I think this depends on how much you see each other or your intimacy level. I'm not 100% sure as it also depends on the guy but from my point of view 1 month is right.

it depends on things. like your age, his age, how well you get on, whether you both move at the same speed within the relationship.
If you've over 16 - I would say before 3 months is a no-no. You want him to respect you don't you. so from 3 months to 6 months is ok. As long as all is well in your relationship.

as long as you want honey! Don't let them tell you otherwise! Respect yourself! If after 3 dates you are not ready-YOU ARE NOT READY! Do not push yourself, you will end up resenting him. However, if you want to sleep with him and just want to keep it decent thats a whole other story. THe longer he waits the better. I would make it 8 days

Until you dont feel nervous about it! You shouldnt need to think when your going to do it! Just let it happen when it feels right for both of you! Make it special!
I waited for 2 years! He was my first serious boyfriend and we are still together, now engaged! We were both virgins though which made it easier to wait!

Well you should wait till you feel its the right time as you should never feel pressured into doing something your not ready for and if your bf is considerate he'll wait for you because something good is worth waiting for. :)

Until you feel that he is truly the one you would like to share that part of yourself with. do not rush into anything. Make sure that he really cares about you, and not just looking for sex, before you have sex with him.
