i donate monthly to help support to a girl who resides outside of usa and was not born here so she does not have ss# etc neither is her mom. i send the money via western union (i have kept all the records) and i am wondering how can i go about doing tax deduction? and what kind of proof will i be needed to provide to KGB i mean IRS about this being a charity deduction?

If it is not a charity recognized by the government you can't claim it.

Sorry but that is not a charitable contribution. You can only deduct contributions that are made to registered 501(c)3 charities.

Furthermore if the child is not a US citizen or does not reside in the US, Canada or Mexico you cannot claim her as a dependent.

Contributions to a particular individual or family do not qualify as deductible charitable contributions.

You don't say whether she is related to you, and if so, how, and how much you donate. There is a chance, if she lives in Canada or Mexico, that you could claim her as a dependent, but there are a number of rules to meet to do that.

This is not a qualifying deduction. Even the child gets SS# you won't get charity deduction.
Also you get charity deduction only if you itemize deductions, which you will do only if your itemized deductions are more than standard deduction.
