If this is a prolonged feeling, and you don't feel you can shake it off - it may be that you are suffering mild depression. No-one here can tell you for certain - but I will say that from personal experience, this unexplained unhappiness can be a symptom.
If this is troubling you, it might be a good idea to see your doctor just for a chat about how things are, and to ask him/her what they think. Medication is not for everyone, but it is an option that may be available to you, as is some form of talking therapy.
A lot of people are finding that taking up regular exercise can help with feeling low - to the point where some GP's are actually 'prescribing' it for patients. If you are able to, you may find it helpful to look into joining a gym or even just going walking or swimming more.
The change of seasons play a big part in how you feel as well. I know at this time of year, when it is colder and darker, my mood does dip and I feel less enthusiastic about everything.
I hope things start to pick up for you soon. Keep talking about how you're feeling if you can, because keeping it inside definitely wont help.

You cannot be happy all the time but if it does not improve soon then I would maybe talk to a doctor and see what is going on.......However, until then try some B6, B12 and maybe even some Ginseng.....some of these are good for energy, and also may just help you to feel like doing something.....
Try to get out get in the sun some.....Vitamin D is produced by the sun, so you might try taking some extra Vitamin D....we are typically more depressed in the winter months because we do not have as much sunlight.....even sitting in a room with some fluoroscent lighting and reading a book may help....I work night shift so I know about this......
I hope this helps some...
GOOD LUCK

This happens to me quite often... If I think about things too much and realise that life is pointless. I normally get over it once I have something to do. Hang out with friends, try something new, take a holiday. Just don't take life too seriously and realise that it is natural to have low periods. Like yesterday I was disappointed and felt kinda crap but I'm fine today cos things are going ok. Just don't depress yourself too much

We all feel a bit low now and again.
Force yourself to go for a walk and take in the scenery, it is amazing the difference it will make.
You may be suffering from SAD, so get some sunshine, easier said than done, I admit.
