Your Bible is what i think

lol... we don't really have any possessions that are good enough quality to pass down to our children. All of our furniture is garage sale stuff or a walmart sale special. We figure that as long as it serves the basic purpose, there's no difference between a $50 garage sale couch and a $1200 couch bought at a furniture store, or a $100 table and chairs purchased at Walmart or a $5,000 table and chair se purchased from a furniture store. So no, we don't have anything to hand down to our children, that's not what's really important either, what's more important for them to inherit are values and morals. But, if you have a really nice piece of furniture or something that has been in the family for awhile, then that would be a cool thing to give to them when you're done using it.

Edit: I really like the answer above: I too think that a family Bible would be a great thing to hand down to your children.

A house. I know this sounds odd, but since it is becoming so increasingly expensive to live these day's giving your child a house could help them immensely for the future. Also giving a house is equivalent of a couple hundred thousand dollars depending on where you live. And if you do not have a house or simply want to give something other than that, jewelry such as wedding rings and family heirlooms are very special.
