i think it controls breathing and heart and stuff. does it control feelings of anxeity? what else does it do?

The central nervous system integrates and process signals fromt he peripheral nervous system and issues responses.

Perhaps you are thinking of the Autonomic nervous system, which does control respiration and cardiovascular function as well as many of the symptoms of anxiety.
