I'm a female and was wondering what is an approx amount of carbs I should have a day? Today I at:

1x Banana
1x Brunch Bar
1x White roll
2x TimTams
Some savoury crackers (fat free)
Small peice of steak
Lettuce & Beetroot
Smoothy (strawberries, banana, cordial & ice)
Dried Apricots

Just wondering if this is too much. It feels too much but I do excersize alot :)

Thanks

55% of your daily caloric intake should be from carbs.

So if you're eating 2000 calories, then 1100 calories should be carbs.

Each gram of carbs = 4 calories. So at that rate of 1100 calories, you should have 275 carbs per day.

300 grams is the recommended daily intake. But that's all carbs, not just complex carbs. FYI: All vegetables have a carb count to them.
