I have been sick on and off for a few weeks suffering from sulfur burps, and stomach pain. I went to the Dr. who gave me Prevacid but this makes it worse as it is lowering my acid and preventing digestion. I get a bitter taste in my mouth. If I burp I vomit.

Please give me some cures for this. I cant live like this. I have a 15 month old to care for. I'm pleading for some advice.

Acid reflux...go get some OTC acid reducer like Pepcid AC or something similar. The more indirect route would to go to the doctor to make sure it's acid reflux and they will give you a prescription.

You sound like me a couple years ago. I thought I was dying too! I was diagnosed with Acid Reflux or GERD. My Doc told me to take PRILOSEC!!!!!!!! OR Omeprazole by prescription but more expensive, yet the same!!! It''s reduces stomach acid, it will make you belch & pass gas easy and boy what a relief! It' was like night & day. Also raise the head of your bed about 6 to 12 inches. My husband but bricks and a plank under there. Try not to eat at least 3 hours before you go to bed or lay down. Mine is about 95% better now. Been better for 2 years now. Try these few things right away if it doesn't help in a a week or two you should go to the DOC!! Prilosec might take a few days to get all the acid tamed down so you will see a difference. You will take one a day. You could have a Hiatal Hernia. YOU SHOULD READ THIS STUFF!

try a different antiacid, and STAY away from acidic things, keep ur body alkaline. eat lots of fruit, ((citrus fruits are not acidic they keep ur body alkaline once in ur system)) do not eat very much bread. try to go veggie for a week or even a couple days and see what happens.
