If you homeschool and are legally allowed to do your own thing and are also allowed to have a parent draw up a diploma for you, then you can have a *legitimate* free diploma. You can also get a legitimate free diploma by being signed up with an online public school.

I'd be wary of any company or site advertising that you can get a free diploma through them.

Yes you can get a diploma for free. Go to k12.com and see if that program is avalible in your state. Its free because you are on the public school program; you are just doing it at home! So try it.

If you're a Florida state resident and take their free virtual school you get a free Florida diploma.

It actually still costs you. YOU have to pay for the internet connection and computer. But most people do that anyway.

In most other instances, no. You have to pay course fees or a fee to take the GED test.

Definately not for free. Some of the one's you pay for aren't even worth the paper they're written on.
