I see you've already got that holiday spirit warming your heart and its no longer even Thanksgiving yet. do not open the presents you receive take them to the nearest guard and donate them. some lady and their little ones would no longer make too a lot money and celebrate with stale cookies or pungent bubble bath. In case no human being informed you ITS the idea THAT COUNTS. i wish you do not damage anyones thoughts this season. What do you do at the same time as your youngster delivers something thats no longer as a lot as your criteria. i imagine you want to flow watch How the Grinch Stole Christmas and then watch Its a spectacular existence possibly they'd renew your spirits.

i don't give money to charities. We have our own assistance programs for local people who need help and that is where the bulk of my families "extra money" will go during the "Holiday Season". My family has everything they need and i don't think a spending spree and massively expensive toys are really going to make the children any happier than small but well planned gifts would.

I gave my sister $4500 for surgery without ever expecting to get it back a few weeks ago. Charity starts at home, and this year, ends at home.

I am, however, giving a family in need - been where they are - a bunch of children's handmade toys to give their wee ones for Christmas, because I believe a child needs a Christmas.

I dont celebrate xmas - i celebrate yule, with no presents, but by spending quality time with family....
for the 25th my teens and i and my hubby, go to the battered womens shelter and deliver gifts to the kids there, clothes to the women/men, and an ear to listen to whomever needs it.

Easily. The food bank alone gets about the same as what I expect to spend on presents.

Yes, I will give more money to charity than I'll spend on Christmas gifts. Instead of giving gifts to each other, my family does something charitable, giving time, money, supplies, etc. Giving to others instead of ourselves is our way of celebrating the birthday of Christ.

If I gave a penny that would be more, I don't buy presents for days other people decide on, I buy presents when and if I feel like it.
