Matthew 28:19 and 2 Corinthians 13:14 are instances of this. Neither of these texts says that Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are coequal or coeternal or that all are God. The Scriptural evidence already presented on pages 408-412 argues against reading such thoughts into the texts.
McClintock and Strong’s Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological, and Ecclesiastical Literature, though advocating the Trinity doctrine, acknowledges regarding Matthew 28:18-20: “This text, however, taken by itself, would not prove decisively either the personality of the three subjects mentioned, or their equality or divinity.” (1981 reprint, Vol. X, p. 552) Regarding other texts that also mention the three together, this Cyclopedia admits that, taken by themselves, they are “insufficient” to prove the Trinity. (Compare 1 Timothy 5:21, where God and Christ and the angels are mentioned together.)

1Jo 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
Note:
The Word is Jesus:
Jhn 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

You bring out some good points‘The trinity is a very popular belief in our time. But this is not what was taught by Jesus and his disciples. So, we worship the One that Jesus said to worship.’ ‘When Jesus was teaching, here is the commandment that he said was greatest . . . (Mark 12:28-30)28......I am going my way to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am......’ (2) ‘Jesus never claimed to be equal to God. He said . . . (John 14:28)as you point out ‘Then what is the origin of the Trinity doctrine? There are Bible texts that I could never fit in with that belief. Here is one of them. (Matt. 24:36) (1If the Son is equal to the Father, how is it that the Father knows things that the Son does not?’ If this was true only regarding his human nature, But then why does the holy spirit not know?’ Here's what the Scriptures do say about God. (Ps. 83:18; John 4:23, 24)’ I do believe in Jesus Christ but not in the Trinity. Why? Because I believe what the apostle Peter believed about Christ. Notice what he said . . . (Matt. 16:15-17).15.’He[Jesus]said to them:"You though who do you say I am?"(16.In answer Simon Peter said:"You are the Christ, the Son of the living God"(17.In response Jesus said to him:"Happy you are, Simon son of Jonah, because flesh and blood did not reveal it to you, but my Father who is in the heavens did." ‘ notice also, that at John 17:3 Jesus speaks of his Father as “the only true God.” So, at most, Jesus is just a reflection of the true God.’ What is required on our part to be pleasing to God? (John 4:23, 24)23Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.

You are still at it...and after all this time.
You seek to set straight those you say believe a falsehood. There is no way to convince you of the reality that is the Godhead because it is a very hard teaching even for many Christians to grasp. The difficulty in understanding is there for a reason. It is not there for you to know at this time.
There is only one God. We do not believe in many Gods. We believe in one God. We have not given God any partners. Muhammed made a very serious mistake in saying otherwise. He taught you an error that prevents you from seeing. You use a falsehood against us. That falsehood is directly concerning one who is far more important and powerful than you have ever imagined. His name is Jesus.
You can not expect to take the knowledge of a high position in any other religion and become a Christian with that knowledge still intact and relevant. There are similarities of many kinds, it is true. But you must enter the kingdom of God as a child. Humble. Ready and eager to learn. Free from the ways of error. God will lead you to truth through His Spirit, but it will be in His own time and under His own circumstances. It is through the Holy Spirit that God reveals to each of us His truths and once revealed are undeniable.
Gain at least a very basic understanding of Jesus and follow his instructions. That should not be so hard a thing to do for one who already accepts him as a prophet. You acknowledge his existence and see him as unique among men. The Book is there for you any time you wish to see him. There is no excuse.
Instead of following a path through the volumes of writings by men in an attempt to disprove the things that will be later revealed, let the scriptures speak. Begin with the Gospel according to John.
You have just been given an invitation to dissect The Book rather than those who love it.

There is no verse that says it. All teachings about the trinity resulted from councils that met in early Christendom to come to agreement about how to understand the relationship between Jesus, his Father, and Spirit that would the Father would send after Jesus left. There are different views about it and different verses in scripture shed some light on it but it is still difficult. Jesus says 'he is in the Father and the Father is in him' which indicates some unity but there is no mention of the Spirit. Many have the approach that the Spirit is that which unites the Father and the Son in that union.

You always leave out a lot material in your citations.
"Then God said, ‘Let us make man in our image, after our likeness . . .’" (Gen. 1:26).
"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" (Matt. 28:19).
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." (John 1:1)
"But Peter said, ‘Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back part of the proceeds of the land? While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal? How is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.’" (Acts 5:3-4)
"The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all" (2 Cor. 13:14).
These verses say the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are three persons in one God.

It is not in the bible, the trinity is a false teaching conjured up by false religion, any church that subscribes to this "tool" of Satan is a part of the antichrist described at 1st John 2: 18, 22.

There are two(2) ways to look @ life.... 1) fundamentally or 2) philosophically (symbolically) ! The world was NOT created in 7 days... Every day could have been 1 million years, since evolution of water in the planet took a while before the volcanic gases formed H(2)O(1)... !
All organisms in the sea were Asexual, in which they did NOT need a spouse to PRO-CREATE but over-time with evolution animals evolved in reproducing...Fish learned how to walk on land and breath air like amphibians... Some catfish have fins that allowed them to move on soil with being in water...
And in evolution, mankind today is NOT totally heterosexual...you have your homosexuals, bi-sexuals, trans-sexuals...etc...and there many examples...like the TRINITY proves a triangle (666) ... 3 sided triangle !!
Fundamentalism vs. Symbolism !!

The trinity is never mentioned in the bible. I don't believe in it. I think that the holy spirit, or the holy ghost (which in the greek came from the same word) are just the voice of God, which Jesus' life and death made it possible for us to hear.
