maybe he can fit in the back seat? I was looking at the honda Fit... is there any other car I need to consider? He is only 8 weeks old... and 25 pounds. will he fit when he gets bigger?

Hey I have a mastiff and a lab. And only a Maxima. They do fit in the backseat, but I long for the days of a bigger car. Not a truck, as mastiff can't jump. St. Bernie is about the size of my mastiff, so he should do ok in most 4-door midsize cars.

How about a ford Ranger?
There good on gas and practically maintenance free.
And doggie can ride shot gun and in the truck bed.
Plus they come in handy when moving etc.
