Does anyone know the lyrics and translation to this Italian Song?

It's called "santa maria" and i believe it's by oliver onions. i found some websites online w/ the supposed lyrics but it seems like some of the words are off. and also i wanted to know the translation. thx!

Singers do take liberties with language to suit their requirements and lyrics can be very odd.

I wondered if there was a typo in the Italian; "intorno" may be wrong, have no r in it and the line translated as
"When the air that is around is true" could have meant:
"When the song I start to sing is sincere", which I think is more in context.
I have left the title of the song as it is, rather than translating it into "Holy Mary".
