Ok, like whenever I wake my dog up, he gives me the evil eye, or sometimes, I'll be sitting there watching TV, or on my computer, and I'll look at him, and he'll be giving me the evil eye!!! I play with him a lot, but I obviously can't play with him 24/7, and when I'm relaxing, he gives me the evil eye...

It looks almost identical to this:

(This is a picture from Halloween, so just never mind the costume, and here I'm sure he was squinting from the flash of the camera, but that's what the look he gives me looks like)

Is my dog smart enough to actually know he's giving me the evil eye?

Thanks.

some human beings have not any subject for others. they don't supply as much as think of that in the event that they're ever in an twist of destiny or improve a debilitating illness, they could be those in want of a provider dogs. Others are terrified of canines and do in contrast to that those canines have an "excuse" to be around (yet that worry is their subject, not yours). forget approximately approximately those human beings; they are actually not nicely worth some time. for each guy or woman who provides that look, there are in all probability 2 or 3 people who experience slightly %.-me-up after seeing your dogs. i admire seeing provider canines; they look so proud to have a job to do! i might run over and puppy them if i did not see that vest and be attentive to they're working! So I stay out of their way :)

Oh, for heaven's sake, he's just squinting at the light - there's no such thing as an "evil eye", take him to the vet, check if there is a reason for the light sensitivity, if not, ignore the look.

If your dog was actually giving you the "evil eye" you'd be asking different questions (help, my dog bites). My stepson's dog gave my husband the "evil eye" and then bit him!

He's trying to figure out what makes you tick. Sometimes he can force you to playing with him, and sometimes you won't go for it.. He is trying to size you up, see what kind of person you are, what he might be able to get away with, whether you are serious in the things you say. Trying to size up your mood..
