I have waist-length dark brown hair with natural waves/loose curles, and straighten it occasionally, but I was wondering which hairstyle guys find more attractive.

Both are beautiful.
I really love long hair with some nice subtle waves. It's an easy, freespirited gorgeous style. It was definitely huge this summer.
The trend for winter is sleek and straight, especially if you have a bob. It screams high maintainence. :]
With guys, it's all a matter of preference. I will say that most guys I know prefer long hair on girls, whether it be curly or straight, just because it looks better and more natural. Girls aren't supposed to chop their off and guys are (according to my best friend Shawn, anyway). But seriously, do what you want. There are other ways to attract guys than with your hair, and I seriously doubt that either hairstyle will be a major turn off for a guy.

Actually, it depends on the face. If you have sharp features, wavy hair softens. If you have softer features, straight hair really accentuates them. If you have a face that's in between, anything goes. I've never looked good in stick straight hair because I have narrow oval face and a square jaw.

My younger daughter has naturally stick-straight hair and she gets tired of people asking how much time she spends on straightening it.

I think that big loose tousled waves that look like you have just rolled out of bed are the most attractive to men.

i think iron-straightened hair looks too straight. natural wavy hair loooks so much more carefree and appealing, instead of a girl that spends wayyyyyy to much time on her hair

curly hair is sexy!!! most girls have straight hair, why would you want to look like everyone else, stand out, and appreciate those curls, I spent years hating my curly hair.... Now I love it!!

straight hair is boring especially if its super straight....
I would go with ur natural hair...
