Sir, universe is based upon duality - good and bad, stupid and intelligent, day and night. These are two sides of the same coin and complimentary (not opposite) to each other. If you take out stupid, then intelligent will also be not there. Infact, in degrees, stupid is less intelligent, and an intelligent is less stupid.

I think that might be true because the really entertaining part is that most people are considered stupid by someone, while they themselves think of themselves at smart!
