Your question about the OT inspired me to ask about keeping the Sabbath Holy, so I asked, resulting in a big hulabaloo, to find that most Christians deem the OT and the laws of Moses as obsolete with the coming of Jesus Christ.

That was an interesting find.

It's unfortunate that people can form such an inaccurate view of Paul and his writings. As a pharisee he was very aware of what the Old Testament had to say...and by his own letter at the end of his life he validated the importance of all scripture...Old Testament and New. Let's let his own words speak for themselves as he was writing to his son in the faith, Timothy. "....how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thorougly equipped for every good work" - 2Timothy 15-17. Would a man who wanted to minimize/degrade the Old Testament declare that all Scriptures should be valued?

Study what happened to the Roman Church at the time of Constantine and you will have your answer as to why most of Christianity has abandoned the old testament. Remember one thing however, not all Christians have abandoned the old testament.

I know why I didn't answer it, and I even looked at it. Because your mind is already made up. You don't have a question, you have a statement, an agenda. I come here to answer real questions. And for the record, I don't disrespect the OT, but I also don't live under law, but under grace.

Usually, if you have to ask that question, the answer is simply that you don't know how to ask a question.

Most people want to answer questions written by those who want to learn something. We'd rather not waste our time on someone that doesn't want to learn and simply wants us to agree with whatever they say.

Hope this helps!
Matt

Maybe they were mad that you put their religious symbol at the bottom of the little icon you made.. I guess they do not realize you are one of them.
