:) by turning it into something good and useful.
There is the power of transformation. With this power you turn whatever seems to be wrong into something good. You can do that through your attitude and based on the knowledge of who you are and therefore are going to be. More precisely if you know who you were then you know who you are becoming. It is the meaning of HumSo-SoHum. I was that and i am becoming that again - no matter what happens. Well, once you know you were that and that you are becoming it again you also have to make effort to imbibe the qualityes that you once had - because you are not going to become that again just like that. But in this process just understand one single thing - that whatever happens - wether it seems to be wrong or right - is going to take you there where you want to be. .........:) as long as you always keep the aim to reach there. That's all. You just know what you were and so what you are going to be and therefore whatever is in between is going to take you there - as long as you follow Shrimat. To keep the aim is to keep following Shrimat.
For example Shrimat says ''Always give unconditional love in all your thoughts, words and deeds.'' So if someone is trying to put obstacles in front of your task with full awareness of what they are doing - in that case too you have to be an ocean of unconditional love. By having this attitude - wether the task is going to be accomplished or not you are going to reach your destination because the task is not more important than you remaining an embodiment of love. Whatever situation was there - it was an opportunity for you to make your attitude of unconditional love - pukka...:). So... where is the suffering? Suffering is not a virtue nor a shringar (ornament) of the elevated stage and it is there only if you allow it to be and you will allow it if you don't have knowledge.
:) You have just received a jewel....:) use it well....:).
Best Regards.

Yes - well - if not love, at least appreciate. Suffering is where we grow the most. Gold has the impurities removed by being refined by fire. Tea bags are worthless unless dunked in hot water, etc. In every case of suffering, there is incredible opportunity to grow spiritually. By removing oneself somewhat from the situation as taught in Buddhism, we can more clearly and more quickly see the lesson. Taoism teaches us that it is only in contrast that we can appreciate either side. Without Light we cannot understand Darkness. Tall has no meaning without knowing short. Life on this earth is a training ground where we learn the lessons that will bring us closer to understanding the Divine. Before we arrive, it is decided what lessons we will be trying to learn this time around. The faster the lesson is learned, the fewer times we will have to experience situations in which to learn the lesson.

Definitely yes! You should accept the fact that the suffering has been created by you only and no one else. You are harvesting the fruits of the actions you have been doing so far. It is so easy to blame God or this or that for what you are enduring as a result of your bad karma. But people who do this are simply in profound ignorance. They do not know that they are the result of their own past actions, be it in this very both or in previous ones. In fact, I would say that people should cultivate the habit of accepting everything on the positive side of life and make it a must to better their way of thinking and their actions. Everything happening to you was bound to happen because you wanted it as such. You can change the course of your life by dissolving your past karma and start to lead a pious spiritual life and spread positive emotions and positivity on the world. Be a glowing lamp everywhere you go and get everyone absorbed in divine energy and vibrations. Eliminate all negativity and bad thoughts from your life and start a new life afresh.
Wishing for the best to everyone,
Prodigy.

Yes you can, and it is a flipside and a paradoxical nature that I consider a universal truth. Many many truths have a backdoor, where the opposite really isn't all that different from the original thing:
In order to gain control, you must surrender it.
In order to live you must die.
In order to know happiness you must know suffering.
For one...happiness is often times on a scale or by comparison. How do you know how happy you are, compared to how miserable you have been? You don't know a blessing quite the same until after you have come through a rought time.
Another thing to consider is that suffering often times brings us to our knees before God, and causes us to admit our need for God. This is truly the best place for us to be...and the place to reap all the blessings God has for us.
So it isn't a sicko enjoyment of the pain, it is seeing the blessing of how it changes you into someone who is stronger, humbler, and more in tune with the miracle of deliverance from a problem, or comfort through it.
Not to mention the fact that many Christians consider suffering not only a joy but a privilege, as a gift (such as the stigmata) that allows us to connect with Jesus on that much deeper of a level...to carry the cross with Him so to speak.

Suffering is something negative aspect and its aim itself is to have an opposite effect of the normal mode. If you have to love it then you have to be also an opposite character person. What we can do is to be in a state of peace or learn to live with the suffering. Like how a permenantly disabled person learns to live a life. For this we have to believe in our Creator or a belief that there is a Super Power above us. We have to believe in that and thru this belief we can control the anxiety and anger arising out of this suffering situation. When we look around we are sure even the richest persons on earth have got their own anxious and tensed moments. In fact they have more such situations than a poor African beggar. The later sleeps more peacefully than the former. For the beggar if he gets a good lunch he will sleep. He is not worried about the future. He only waits for his food for that instant. Where the richest person is more anxious to safeguard his wealth and fame. He is worried about the future more than the present. In this aspect he has more suffering than the beggar. Only way to love your suffering is to be in peace of mind even during the worse tense situation.

None will love suffering. You can only be in a state of mind were you will not feel the suffering as a suffering. That state is what Buddha said as a middle path.Your mind will never go into the extremity of enjoyment nor will it go to the extremity of suffering. You will be in the middle, that's the balanced state of mind.

I don't think that I can love my suffering, but whenever you go through a hardship you get some of your sins forgiven.
But you should always be patient.
So suffering is an expiation for your sins.
That is what Islam teaches.

Not when your going through it, but after you overcome it. Through suffering, you will become stronger, more faithful, more experienced, and all around a better person. It's like when people pray for patience, they are given situations to exercise and practice to gain that patience. We have to go through hard times that will knock us down to build us up into the great/strong people we can be.
The only trick is keeping your eye on the right source throughout that tribulation.

I knew I heard that coyote around here, somewhere. Did you catch him? No? well, let him run free, he's gotta be to meet me under the November moon on the 24. Suffering is how you know when you aren't anymore and you can catch your breath and hold your newborn. Yes, you can love it.

No, I can't love my sufferings, but it is not a matter of loving them. It is a matter of accepting them humbly. The lesson is only learned when we accept the hard task and the big challenge with an opened heart and trust in God.
Peace!
