I need a dentist. My husband and I live in MA and we struggle from paycheck to paycheck to just keep the bills paid and food on the table. MA is very expensive so, even with our meager existence, we make "too much money" to get any sort of assistance for rent or food. We have medical insurance through my work, but we don't have dental insurance.

I lost a filling and my tooth really hurts, but we cant afford a dentist. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to help?

(we have no children, if it matters)

Note: a regular dentist is to expensive for us, no matter how affordable they may seem to most people. After paying bills we currently have an average of $20 left per week for food.

also note: we don't have extreme bills, it's just really expensive to live here. We don't even own a car, I walk to work and my husband has a company car. Our one luxury is the combo package from the cable company with basic cable and internet. However, moving out of state is not an option.

i am like you i also find dental services very expensive. i had an aching tooth before and spent huge amounts to get that impacted tooth out.
I suggest you go to a reputable Dental college whose students are cream of the crop (works like a licensed dentist). I did that and paid a very small amount for 3 root canals, some amalgam fillings etc. It's worth it because they are supervised by a licensed dentist who is their professor.

SANDY,
AN EXAM AT THE DENTIST ISN'T AS EXPENSIVE AS YOU IMAGINE. SEE SOMEONE A.S.A.P.
