That sounds great; I enjoy hot rice just out from the baptong (any type of rice cooker is okay) with some hot jjigae as well..
Although I am not a fan of meat.. I just can't resist eating donggaseu 돈까스.. The sauces are so good and I also enjoy the food on the side like the cup of rice, string cabbage salad, and macaroni salad that are on the big plate as well.

Soon dubu over rice. Especially if it's cold outside... it's like an insulator the spicy red soup really warms you up and the tofu really fills your tummy. But chamchee chigae over rice is awesome too!
Heck, I just really like Korean food. I think I'm gonna go get a rice ball now.

For the main dishes
1. Sutbul Galbi(Korean Barbecue!)
2. Dak Galbi (Spicy Chicken Galbi)
3. Samgyeosal (DDok Samgyeosal, Kimchi Samgyeopsal)
4. Naengmyun (Cold noodles)
5. Bibimbap (Mixed rice)
6. Gamjatang (Potato Stew)
7. Sundubu Jjigae (Hot Tofu soup)
For the street foods
1. Dakkochi (Spicy Chicken Bar)
2. Odeng (This is great for the winter! Though I hate sharing Ganjang with other people. I just enjoy Odeng without ganjang sauce)
3. Hodugwaja (They sell this at the gate to the subway station and I can't pass this without buying it!)
For desserts and beverages
1. Patbingsoo (I'm hoping to open a patbingsoo restaurant when I go back my hometown. Would you like to join? lol)
2. Shikhye
3. Makgoli (boo Soju, yeah Makgoli!)
Gosh! My mouth is watering...

Korean barbeque ! My favorite Korean restaurant is a place where you order raw things (meat and vegetables) and cook it yourself over a gas burner in the middle of the table.
However, I find it is too much work to be eating out and still cooking anyway my next best Korean restaurant is one where the food is the same but now is served already cooked.

I really like spicy buckwheat noodles, and all the cool condiments/relishes that come with almost anything you order. I live near Fullerton and Cerritos in Southern California, and we have lots of Korean restaurants!

My favorite is still Dak Galbi. It's kind of a kids or teenagers favorite but I like it.
I'm also a little more adventurous than others on this page.
I like San Nakgi
BoShinTang
and GopJang
Another of my favorites is grilled Karabi, and mussels with GoChuJang

I've always been a fan of galbi and samgyeopsal with steamed rice and complete with the plastic chairs and the hundreds of people walking by on the street. That's Korea.
There's a street in downtown Busan referred to as "pig row."
Good question.
