i mean, having different visas for the same country? I had my existing tourist visa and it's not expired yet. So, will it be okay if i apply for a working visa for the same country? Wouldn't there be a conflict having 2 visas for the same country?

In the United States you can't apply for a work visa, you must find an employer and it's up to the employer to apply and obtain the visa for you.

Each country has its own rules. For the UK, you can apply for any visa you want, but if you're here on a tourist visa you would have to return to your own country to have it processed. I think the new visa would cancel the old one. It is not possible to switch from a visitor visa. Anyway, get some professional advice.

Depends on the country. Most countries will not allow you to hold two visas at once, but they will replace one with the other (for example, they will exchange a tourist visa for a work visa, and if you're authorized to work then you can always go touring).

If you have a valid UK visit visa in your passport there would be nothing to stop you applying for a WHM visa using the same document. The WHM visa would over-ride the lower category visit visa.
