Even a dishonorable-discharge can get in after 2 years, so as long as you weren't medically discharged, yes you can.

You are stuck with the General Discharge for Life... Your RE Code is either an RE-3 or RE-4...NOT an RE-1... Will recieve No Waivers to Re-enlist... Yes, the Last Discharge is what Stands...

I had the same questions. Now days, you can get in even if you had a dishonorable discharge. Also, you can get a lot of bonus money and the Iraq war is winding down. Now is the time to move.

depends on several factors: how long have you been gone, are you looking to keep your old job or get a new one, and are you wanting to go back into the same branch or not?
AF won't take any PS period, Navy is picky about who they will let back in as are the Marines. Army would probably welcome you with open arms.

Look on your DD-214 for your reenlistment code. It should say RE-1. If it does and you meet all requirements, you are good to go. You might want to learn how to spell honorable though.
