I'm kind of wondering here.
If I ask a question like "why is homosexuality wrong", I'll get dozens of answers from Christians who point to various verses in the Bible.
However, when I asked about specific verses in the Bible that support Catholicism, nothing.
I recently asked why, when conservatives argue that homosexuality shouldn't be protected because they believe it to be mutable, religion, which IS mutable, should remain protected. Only three answers so far, and not one cogent Christian response.
Is there a commandment that says "Thou shalt not answer difficult questions"? I've read the Bible a number of times, but I missed this one.
Or is it that such questions make people think, and that's too much work?
I'd really like to discus some of the tough ones. If I'm really off base, I'd like to know. Perhaps I'm expecting too much to think that others might like to discover he same about their own beliefs.

Many of them have not actually studied the Bible at least not in its entirety. They instead take the word of others to be fact.

Hi, friend. You are an honest seeker and I understand your frustration. Not everyone sees all the questions all the time, and we don't have all the answers. You're right when you say "such questions might make people think, and that's too much work?"
So, you were asking for Bible verses that support Catholicism or a certain religion? There are none! God hates all religions! They are just rules made by people that confuse other folks and guide them down the wrong path. What God wants from us is soooo different and easy, but we complicate it. God wants to have a personal relationship with us. He created us and loves us. No amount of good works can win us Heaven. In fact, it is when we recognize that we are sinners and need to accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior that we receive the gift of salvation. I can't explain it all here, so go to www.thewayofthemaster.com

I don't mind answering hard questions especially those that are truly seeking information or clarification on a particular matter. That doesn't seem to be your premise in this question.
You've read the Bible a "number of times" so why do you ask why homosexuality is wrong? I'm not trying to be obtuse; when I first read the Bible (as a youth/teenager) it was very evident to me that homosexuality was sinful behaviour according to scripture. And, every time that I've read it since I've drawn no other conclusion regarding the issse based on scriptures.
Blessings.

Mutable.Homosexuality your saying is changeable. In other words a person could decide to go straight.Be completely different then they were . Your also saying that religion is mutable, theres where I disagree. There are all kinds of religions and they all are different in there beliefs but as an organized religion they have there rules and they don`t change or if a rule changes its not all the rules that make up the back bone of the religion that turns that religion completely different.

Homo Sexual is of the World. Anythings pertaining to the World is of the World. It is separated from the Holy Kingdom or rejects the things of it.
The Christian of old have put this burden to the World by condemning them. Those that are not of the Holy Kingdom should not be subjected to Kingdom rules. It is bullying. If they embrace the Holy Kingdom then only are they subjected to it's rules.
It is a wicked thing that the Christian and of other Faith to subject their beliefs to those people by imposing their way of life as according to their doctrine.
I am always sad to see those being victimize here.
Hypocrites, Saying one thing and doing the opposite.
Will Christ set those rules?

Didn't you ask this question last night? I was going to answer it, but it got deleted. Oh yeah, I don't use bible quotes to answer questions.
Edit: Oh yeah, I'll answer your questions a bit later. Not blowing you off, but too tired to answer such a question now. I wish it didn't get deleted, because I was gearing to answer it then.
_______
Edit: I used two bible quotes.
Your words are seperated with @@@, and the two bible quotes I used are seperated with ***
@@@"I'm kind of wondering here.

There are versus in the bible where it does say that homosexuality is wrong. However there are versus in the bible that does demonstrate some interpretive love between to males:
***And Jonathan made a covenant with David because he loved him as himself. Jonathan took off the robe he was wearing and gave it to David, along with his tunic, and even his sword, his bow and his belt.***
***I grieve for you, Jonathan my brother; you were very dear to me. Your love for me was wonderful, more wonderful than that of women. ***
There are other verses as well. So although the bible clearly states the act of a man lying with a man as he would a woman is detestable, the bible clearly does not mention a man loving a man with the same passion as a woman is wrong. You can draw your own conclusions.
@@@“However, when I asked about specific verses in the Bible that support Catholicism, nothing.”@@@
The bible doesn’t support any religion; the bible does mention the people of various faiths. The bible is the guide for religions, it is not a guide used to declare any religion.
@@@”I recently asked why, when conservatives argue that homosexuality shouldn't be protected because they believe it to be mutable, religion, which IS mutable, should remain protected. Only three answers so far, and not one cogent Christian response.”@@@
Protected against what, discrimination? Homosexuality is protected against discrimination, plus they are not prevented from filing judgments against the people who may have discriminated against them. They have the right to protest just like any other American. They have that right because they are human beings. That right is not denied to them because of their homosexuality, nor is that right solely granted to them because of their homosexuality. Name one human society group by gender, race, or sexual orientation that does not have the right to protest and to challenge discrimination? Every social group has protested and mostly all have gained rights and protection against discrimination as a result of these protest.

If you wanted a serious answer to difficult theological questions, you would not be asking questions of amateurs on Y!A. You would be e-mailing some pastor or priest or seminary professor somewhere instead.
People usually ask questions on here to get other people's viewpoints or opinions, not questions on basic theology that you can read for yourself in a book somewhere. If someone doesn't feel like writing out a long, complicated answer that is going to be ignored anyway, then can you blame them?

You REALLY need to look up the word 'Yahoo" in the dictionary. It WILL answer your question.
And how do you figure that homosexuals aren't protected under the law? Gays can have their parades any time they want to, any WHERE they want to. But let a group of Christians start talking about God on public property, and they get Code Enforcement crawling up their backs.

so what is the question? If you are asking why Homosexuality is wrong, and Christians answer you with Bible Verses saying its an immoral sin, and not the way that God Intended marriage, familys or life to be, and that is not good enough, then it seems to me that you are not happy at all, and nothing will be good enough.... How about my answer to help you, I will be blunt and honest............ Homosexuality is wrong
BECAUSE ITS GROSS! I wonder if that is good enough, or you will post that no one adds bible verses. GOD Himself said it was wrong, why is that not enough for you????

if all your questions are concerning homosexuality maybe you would get more responses from the gay transgendered lesbian section not to be rude or push you out but it just seems to make sense that few religious parrots will be free thinking enough to answer these kinds of questions unless someone has given them an endorsed bible pat answer to begin with.
