There are soooo many. Swans are beautiful graceful birds. Eagles are strong and powerful. There is a mocking bird that sings from morning till night in a big oak tree all summer long. Nothings more enjoyable to me than being serenaded by him.

My favorite bird is the Flammulated Owl. A small owl of the mountains of the western Untied States. They are the only small owl in North American with dark eyes, all the others have yellow eyes. They are a hard to see, and their calls are fairly soft. They like ponderposa pine forests and aspen groves.

Swans are beautiful... I love Bald Eagles... they are my favorite bird subject in drawing because of their powerful stare! As far as captive birds I love Zebra Finches, I have 3 myself.

American Goldfinch. We have feeders, birch trees and a fountain in the back yard so we get to see these little goofs all year long, in all their different plumage, plus the fuzzy little fledglings.
We get lots of birds, including Hummingbirds, but the Goldfinch is my fave.
