Go to Wal Mart and get a Daisy 880 Power Line. Its about $40 with a 4x scope and will shoot about 800 fps. It will kill squirrels. etc.

I have the Powerline 880. Pretty powerful, not very accurate. Yo'll need a headshot to get a clean kill. Easier said than done. It is cruel, illegal and unnecessary to severely injure the the animal only to let it die a slow and painful death later. More likely than not, that's what you'll achieve with any gun in this price range.
Do you really need to kill small animals? Tell me the reason. Killing "because you can" is a sign of mental illness.

I too rec commend the Daisy 880 powerline, but make sure you use the pellets when hunting, you'll have a lot more accurate shots and it will be a cleaner kill with your game.

What you really need for your intended purpose is a 22 caliber long rifle.* Pellet gun is not an option you should be considering.*
