Recently, (By recently, I mean a couple of months now) i've been having some real issues that make me really question my sanity. I am religious, yes, I am Christian, and I have no problems with admitting that. God has changed my life. Recently though, i've been VERY concerned about the End of Time, AKA: Apocalypse. I feel that its very close, in fact, I think that every day is my last. It's driving me insane, literally; Quite frankly, i'm miserable. I know apocalypse is coming, I don't know when, but it is. But thinking that every day is my last like I do, I just can't take it any more. I'm going insane. Any little thing out of the norm, such as something as simple as a little computer glitch scares me. I don't know what to do. I'm at a dead end here, I just don't know what to do. Can someone give me some advice or something? I'm turning to everyone for help. I've prayed for God to cease my fears some. I could really use some advice from my "Brothers and Sisters" though.

hey, I am not a Christian, in fact I am agnostic. But you should thank god that you actually have a religion that you believe in, because frankly that would be great if I had some source of salvation that I could look towards...but I don't, which makes the apocalypse that much more frightening. I like you, have been plagued by the thought of the end of the world my whole entire life, but these past few months it has been amplified because all I ever seem to hear about is that damned Mayan calander thing. There is a reason that I searced "apocalpyse" on this thing, and there is a reason why I am responding. It is because I am so terrified. And I wish to god that I wasn't. I just need some condolences...something to make this leave my mind. But looking on the bright side, there has been many different reports of when the apocalpyse will come, and many of the dates have already past...soooo...I hope that helps you.

i know what you're going through (somewhat). I drank a bottle and a half of robitussin last year (almost enough to kill myself (as i found out later; i wasn't trying to kill myself)) and ever since then i had problems with reality and questioned my own sanity. I know it's hard and i know you believ what you believe is right but allow me to go on with my story and soon you will understand things better. Before my robotrip I had believed this reality to be real to be absolute but afterwards I became scared that this was not reality and started to write a paper on how this really is reality. Eventually I came to disbelieve my own thoughts and found what i feared was true. It scared me almost to death. Eventually I came to this conclusion "Reality's realness or unrealness hasn't changed only what I knew about it has so why fear what has always been true?" I expanded upon the idea of what i used to fear and learned so much more. You just have to say yes to the moment forget the future and enjoy things. Don't worry things aren't going to end anytime soon, they are only going to change for the better. So just relax and accept things. If you want any advice on how to stay calm during panic attacks then give me an e-mail I've gone through such things for about a year now and I am almost completely back to normal.

2 Timothy 4:8-Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day-and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for His appearing.
Ask God to hold you, under His wing, and take your fear away. I'll pray for you. I'm sure many here will.
Please remember this is a temporary home. Our real home is The Kingdom of God. He will wipe your tears, you will never be afraid, never sick, and you will always be so near His radiance.
You probally will be the strongest of all of us, if that time does come while we are still here. God Bless, Peace be with you!

The apocalypse is not the end of time as we know time but it is an end of an age. The perfecting of the body of Christ. God said fear not. You seem to fear death as every day is your last day. Jesus defeated death. It cannot harm you. Enjoy this life you have now, knowing that the new age is going to be even better.

I'd recommend seeing a therapist. I do not mean that in an insulting way, and there is no shame in seeing one. It's just that hyper-focusing on *anything* to the point that it's difficult to live your life or not think about it is a problem. if you can't control the problem on your own, seek help from someone who can help.
At any rate, I seriously doubt that the world is going to end any time soon. Perhaps one way to move past this fear of yours is to let go of this thought that the end is near.

Mandi. If you have put life in the hands of God and Jesus then you shouldn't worry. Don't worry about the end times because we are going through a transition of life! You should be excited about Jesus Christ coming back to take us away to our real home. There, we will know no sickness nor death nor sadness. We will only know happiness and joy for all eternity! So please know this, I will be personally pulling for you, just as you have pulled for me! Jesus and God love you! And I do too!

Children's concept of self is that they are center of the universe. They are needy and attention seeking. Depending on the level of neediness of your child and the amount of nurture and validation you naturally give them will result in how far they will go to obtain your attention, whether it is negative or positive. To begin decreasing this type of "annoying" behavior, try beating your child to the punch by offering the attention and affection before they have a chance to seek it out from you. Offer lots of hugs, kisses, and praise for good things they do or efforts they make. The child will begin to feel more secure in relation to you and will not require so much validation. Be patient, this will not happen over night.

Don't be afraid sister!
The things that you are experiencing demonstrate that you have the potential of becoming a prophetess/sybil. It is a necessary prerequisite in order for your physical brain to be "rewired" so to speak so that it becomes capable of receiving "expanded awareness" of the Spiritual Realm.
So calm down. Meditate and pray a lot. GOD is always listening.
cheers,
:-)

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God who gives to all men liberally and upbraideth not. and it shall be given unto him. but let him ask in faith, nothing waivering.
If the end comes tomorrow whats to be scared of? If your life is on the road God wants you, then you will be saved. What is there to fear?
Fear doesn't come from God. We may see the end of days. But its not something to fear. Its something to rejoice. Its the time Christ will come again. When the dead shall be raised in the morning of the First resurrection.
If ye are prepared, ye shall not fear.

Bible basically teaches to watch for it but not to be concerned about it;just make sure you are prepared by having accepted Christ as your Lord and Saviour and doing your best to serve Him
Sounds like your focusing on it to much.Spend your time in The Bible and in prayer and other things to relax and eventually you'll find you dont have time to stress out about when the end will come.
